Fear

The students of Online publishing class have to write a blog on the statement "Fear builds walls" and what their opinion on this is. To me I can really relate to this statement because fear often gets in the way. For example, this year if you didn’t know I didn’t try out for the varsity soccer team. I didn’t do this just because I feared sitting on the bench of my senior year. The thought of sitting on the bench watching the other girls play just didn’t sound cool to me so I just decided not to do it. I don’t let fear take over my life though like some people. For example, Kelsey Osucha really has a problem with fear. She actually will sit out of vacations that she is invited to by her best friend Morgan Dulski just because she is afraid to ride on planes. Now that is kind of ridiculous I think. She also won’t let her parents ride on trains or subways even if it would be very convenient. She needs to get over this stuff because it is really running her life. If I were her parents I would drag her on that train, subway or plane and make her ride it until she got over it. I would love to do that I think that it would be so funny. Kelsey is basically just a living freak and I tell her that all the time. She is actually sitting right next to me right now reading this and thinks I am a terrible person but she really needs to know this kind of stuff.

Winning

By definition winning is the act of a person or thing that wins. To me winning is the best thing ever. I don’t think there is any better feeling than winning. I mean who could possibly have fun without winning, I mean seriously? Winning also mean achieving your very best. Winning is being victorious in a competition. You can’t spell victorious without Tori which explains why she is so good at whatever she she does. So winning is a word of champions so be in it to win it. A saying that holly groth goes by is go big or go home? She goes big on a daily basis and never goes home. One team that knows nothing about winning is the Bills. They suck so badly which explains why they know nothing about winning. Maybe if they actually knew how to play football they would know a thing or two about winning. The drink of winning is Gatorade. I drink Gatorade er day. That probably explains why I am a winner. Winning also could mean just trying your best. A line I once heard was, “Winner, winner, chicken dinner.” This line shows that if you are a winner, you will be rewarded with something great, such as a chicken dinner. This motivates people to win er day, er night. Like my good friend D.J. Khaled says “All I Do is win win win no matter what got money on mind i can never get enough and everytime I step up in the building everybody hands go up and they stay there and they say yeah and they stay there Up down, up down cause all I do is win win win and if you goin’ in put your hands in the air.” This song kind of reminds me of this kid in my school who is known as Nate The Boss Bailey. Yeah he is a real winner in this school.

Thankful

Thanksgiving Is on its way and the question at this time of the is always what are you thankful for? There is a lot that I am thankful for. Some things are family, food, shelter, and some luxury items. My family is great they are always there for me to talk to. I can’t forget the really cool people that I call my friends. I have a few friends including Kelsey, Holly, Tori and Mary. We always have the best times together. We are always laughing about someone or soemthing. But I must say im the most thankful for Holly Groth. I mean what is not there not to love about holly groth. She may be the coolest girl in town with her he coug. When I wasn’t able to drive holly was always there to pick me up and take me home from school. What a nice girl she is? Holly also doesn’t leave me for her boyfriend like my other friends. For example, tonight actually Kelsey was with mike, Mary was with Alex and Tori was with Liam. And you know what, Holly was here right by side eating some chips and dip. When they were all having fun with their boyfriends me and holly having fun together thinking of a master plan to scare tori and Liam, which might I add worked very well. Holly is also the one who takes me on vacations. This year she took me to California with her which I was very grateful. We got to do a lot of things there such as going to Disneyland and walking down Hollywood Boulevard. I also met my future with her in Ocean City, I brought holly with me to Ocean city and she made me go to the club. There I met Connor, the most good looking, nicest lax bro whom I also am thankful for. Holly Groth is also always there to talk to. She gives the best advice. I hope I never grow apart from this wonderful girl. Thank You Holly so much you really made a difference in my life.

Christmas

My favorite holiday is Christmas. This is probably not much of a surprise considering most kids are a fan of Christmas. Overall Christmas is a great holiday not only because of the presents. Yes, the presents do have a big part of why I like Christmas but I do have other reasons as well. I like how everyone us so joyous when Christmas rolls around. The kids are making their Christmas lists and behaving because they want all the presents they can get. I like the delicious treats that come with Christmas time. I love making Christmas cookie cut outs with my family and decorating them and you got to love them candy canes. Oh, how they are so yummy. There also many fun activities that take place during Christmas season. For example, tubing is something that I love to do during winter break and obviously shopping is another thing that I do all the time during Christmas time. I have to make sure I get presents for my mother, father and sister. My family always gets a real Christmas tree every year. We usually go the day after thanksgiving to get our tree. We go out to breakfast with the Scutt family and they head off to the tree farm. Me and my sister get bored with it real fast but my mother makes sure we stay there for as long as it takes to get the perfect three. A week after we get our tree we decorate it. When I was little I used to love decorating the tree but every year it becomes less and less exciting. We fill the tree with ornaments, tinsel, candy canes and of course Christmas lights. I love going on drives before Christmas looking at everyone’s outside lights. Christmas eve is always fun too. We go to my grandmas and eat and socialize and then we go home and hang out then go to bed. I love Christmas.

quotes

There are a lot of quotes that I find very inspirational and agree with. One of my favorite quotes is by Charlie Chaplin. The quote is "A day without laughter is a day wasted." I have always like this quote and think it is so true. I am the type of person who follows this quote and really does not go a day without laughter. I just love to laugh and try to do it as much as I possibly can. I just think that laughter brightens everyones’ day and life would be boring without it. The second quote that I really like is "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."
The author is unknown. I really like this quote as well. I think that it is so true and life is really about the good times people have. I will never forget the times that would just take my breath away which are basically all my years in high school. I don’t think that life can be described any better than this quote. The third quote that I really like is actually my senior quote this year. The quote is “we laughed until we had to cry, we loved right down to our last goodbye, but over the years we'll smile and recall, for just one moment - we had it all.” The author of this quote is unknown. I really like this quote because I really feel like it describes my high school career. I honestly feel like I am living the best days of my life and I do have it all. I think this is a good quote for those who are in a rush to grow up because it really does make people realize especially those in high school that they are really living the good life.

dinner

One question I feel is very hard to answer is the question, if you could choose three people to have dinner with who would you choose? First of all no doubt about it I would love to have dinner with the one and only Justin Bieber. I don’t really know anyone who could possibly turn down a dinner date with Justin Bieber. Justin Bieber is an extremely attractive boy and I would love for him to take the time out of his very busy life to share a nice meal with me. Another person I would love to have dinner with is My grandmother who died. My grandmother died before I was even born so I never met her before. I think that it would be so nice to actually get to have a conversation with her. My parents always tell me about her but I don’t think that is good enough, I actually want to meet her and be able to hug her and talk about things that I talk to my other grandma about. I always wondered what she would think of me and what I would think of her. The third person I would want to have dinner with is Stephen Colletti . Stephen was on one of my all time favorite shows Laguna Beach. Laguna Beach was always the show I never missed an episode of but now it has come to an end. Stephen was always my favorite character he was so good looking and I was always jealous of his girlfriend and was always wishing was her. If I got a chance to have dinner with the three of these people I would be an extremely happy girl.

thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday that my family and I spend together. Usually my family comes to my house for thanksgiving so we have a lot do to get ready for it. My mom and dad usually clean up the house the night before. I don’t participate in that because cleaning is just something I do not do. Thanksgiving day my mom wakes up real early to put the turkey in the stove so it can cook all day and it is ready for dinner time. After my mom puts the turkey in she begins working on the desserts and sides. She doesn’t make all of them because usually my aunts and grandma make the sides. When it is around three o’clock my family members begin to arrive. It is usually my mom side of the family but one family from my dad side comes as well. When everyone arrives we all just hang out in my living room watching the football game and eating snacks such as vegetables and dip. This is the time where everyone catches up with each other because we don’t see each other often with our busy schedules. Around 5 o’clock we all sit down at the table and eat dinner. My favorite part of the dinner is the cranberry sauce. I just love it, it is so delicious. The mashed potatoes and corn are also really good. After we eat our main course we go on to the desserts. Desserts are usually every ones favorite but not mine. We usually have pumpkin and chocolate pie. Even though I love chocolate I always go to for the pumpkin pie. After everyone’s stomachs are nice and full we go back into my living room and watch some more television and continue to chat. Around 9 o’clock everyone goes home and I try to get to bed early so I can get up the next day for a fun filled day of shopping.

respect

Respect is something that I feel everyone should have. It is something that every child is taught to at a young age by their parents and even teachers. Everyone should respect the people they are around and their environment. Respect is something that is really big in Alden Schools. In every teacher’s classroom rule respect is usually number one. Respect to me means being nice to everyone and treating everything the way you want to be treated. My parents are the two people that I first learned respect from. My parents are always thinking about others before doing the things they do. I always have envied that and decided that respect is an essential thing to have. Most people have respect but there are those who loose respect for certain people. People who do not show the characteristic of respect seem to be rude. I think that everyone one deserves respect right from the beginning but I will obviously lose respect of them if they don’t give me the same treatment. Talking when other people are talking, vandalizing something, putting others down, and even littering are all things that people do who have a lack of respect. I know I wouldn’t want to be around those types of people. They just make the environment so much worse and unhappy. Those who have respect are always people that everyone loves to be around. I don’t think I would be able to be around people who don’t have any respect for anything or anyone or else I would just be so annoyed.

dream job

My dream job would definitely be in the medical field. I don’t know exactly what I want to do yet for sure but I am leaning towards becoming a physician’s assistant. Science and math are my favorite subjects and I think that I really excel in these areas. I really want to be in the process of diagnosing people. I am someone who I will work at something till I figure it out and won’t stop until it is done or else it will drive me crazy. So I think I would really enjoy doing that. I would also like to actually treat the people. I don’t think that you can get any more personal satisfaction than actually helping someone out with their health problems and maybe even saving their lives. I really want to work with younger people because I just get a kick out of the things they say sometimes. With that being said I would want to be a physician’s assistance for a pediatrician. I don’t want to have as much responsibility as a doctor though because I do not want to have to worry about being sued if any mistakes occur. My sister is currently in her fifth year of the physician’s assistant which is mostly rotations at this point. When she comes home she tells me what she is doing and it always seem so interesting to me. I like the fact that every day would be unpredictable and anything can happen at any time. I think that doing the same thing every day would get so boring and I don’t think that would be the case for this profession.
